The Overture 6ft bath enabales bathers to relax as the factory-installed heater helps maintain water temperature while five individually adjustable ProFlex hydro-massage jets soothe and relax your muscles. With an integral neck rest and room for two to fit comfortably this lightweight tub is crafted from Kohler Vikrell Advanced Composite. Vikrell material is pressure and heat molded from a mixture of polyester resin, and fiberglass. It is an economical alternative to acrylic and is comparable in terms of gloss and ease of cleaning. Plus, it is 20 percent lighter weight which makes for easier handling. The Oveture bath is designed for bathing only. It is not designed to be used in a three wall alcove with an overhead shower.This model offers a high-gloss finish, installation versatility, and features a faucet-mount deck and is available in a palette of KOHLER colors to complement any décor.

    KOHLER plumbing products are warranted to be free of defects in material and workmanship for one year from date of installation.

    Kohler Co. will, at its election, repair, replace or make appropriate adjustment where Kohler Co. inspection discloses any such defects occurring in normal usage within one (1) year after installation. Kohler Co. is not responsible for removal or installation costs. Use of in-tank toilet cleaners will void the warranty.

Tile Flange

The built-in flanges on this tub prevent water from getting between the bathtub and the wall, ideal in situations where a bath will also be used as a shower. The integral tile flange is an acrylic flange molded into the tub at the factory and is available in a 3-sided flange for a rectangular tub. The tile flange is designed to screw to the stud wall while the backer board rests on top of the flange to provide an even surface for tile.

Integral Apron

Most bathtubs designed for three-wall alcove installations are finished with either an integral or removable apron on one side. The integral apron is an acrylic apron molded into the tub at the factory and is designed to cover the exposed side of the tub in a three-wall alcove installation. The removable apron allows you access to the pump, motor, and or heater in a whirlpool tub.

Three-Wall Alcove Installation

In a three-wall alcove installation, the bathtub fits into a recess with walls on both ends and one side. Most alcove baths are available with the drain at either the right or left side, depending on the installation preference.

Drop-In Installation

Drop-in baths have a finished rim and are designed to drop into a deck or custom surround. One of the advantages of drop-in baths is that they can be installed in corners, peninsulas, islands and recesses, or can be sunk into the floor. A drop-in bath is supported from below and has a self-rimming edge that is designed to sit over a frame topped with tile or another water-resistant material.

Fine product, but when you lean back in it no jets are at your back. They're all in the middle. Otherwise just fine.
