The polypropylene finish, available in a palette of KOHLER colors, will not crack, scratch, stain or peel. This closed-front model includes a cover, plastic hinges and bumper molding that will not detach.

    KOHLER plumbing products are warranted to be free of defects in material and workmanship for one year from date of installation.

    Kohler Co. will, at its election, repair, replace or make appropriate adjustment where Kohler Co. inspection discloses any such defects occurring in normal usage within one (1) year after installation. Kohler Co. is not responsible for removal or installation costs. Use of in-tank toilet cleaners will void the warranty.

I purchased two of these last week and will be returning them tomorrow. The price was low so I was just refreshing the existing seats in my home but I hate the way this model looks. They did not install well because the plastic hinges or covers over the screws did not snap into place securely, leaving an unattractive gap, and the edge of the plastic was not smoothly finished. The lid looked fine and the seat is functional but if appearance matters, it would be better to spend a bit more for better quality.
