Bemis slow close and removable toilet seats are the best seat to own. It easily snaps off the toilet and I spray the seat with cleaner and rinse it off in my shower. The attachment nubs left on the toilet clean completely so there is no crud collecting and hiding behind places you can't see. AND, it never slams closed. The seat and the lid slowly come to a close, but you can push the seat closed too, so the feature doesn't prevent you from closing it fast.

We love the "Ouiet-Seat". There is no more noise when the seat hits the rim of thr bowl, a great feature, that just happened to come with this seat.
