Our new shower has been enhanced by the flexibility of lowering the comfortable seat when we need to sit and raising it out of the way, otherwise. It is very stylish and sturdy. Pleased our plumber suggested it.

I have had this seat for a number of years now, and we love it. My only complaint is that the bumpers on the support rods have disintegrated with use and they cannot be replaced. I am in the process of trying to create a solution or purchase an entire new seat!
