    After removing the packing material and plugging it in, it gets cold pretty quickly and performs as expected. The pop-up shelf feature is a neat idea that already came in handy.

    Service & Delivery comments:

    Shipping and Handling: Uggh! This ordeal was finally over after the THIRD unit arrived - and it still had a couple of dings in it! The factory really either needs to do a much better job of packing the unit or simply making it stronger. The first two units arrived with major damage, partiularly in the back-bottom where there was major frame damage. Upon further inspection, the steel used in the construction is pretty thin gauge and so is rather fragile. At least the return process was not too bad, but I would recommend trying to pick one up at a local store (and inspect it carefully first!) rather than trying to have one shipped to your home. However, if you do receive a damaged unit at your home, I recommend calling Haier customer service directly as they will not make you ship the damaged unit back - which was a pain to re-pack.

    This little fridge is great, It's just what I was looking for. I keep it filled with beer and soda's. I put a thermometer inside and it does get down to 30 degrees. It's on wheels, so it's very easy to move.

    This unit is the perfect solution for quick beverage access. It can be set to the right temperature (it's near ice cold for us) and it saves wear and tear on the fridge. It holds more than enough, and although we haven't had the opportunity yet, I can only imagine this will be perfect for the large friend and family gatherings. Well worth the price.

    i purchased this item to use in place of a normal refridge and am VERY pleased with it because there is NO wasted space or areas you can not put cans or bottles or chip dip etc. unlike a normal refridge that has one of those small useless freezers!

    I use this product as a beer and soda refrigerator in my sunporch. Unfortunately even on the coldest setting, the fridge does not keep the beers really cold. At first I thought it was because I keep the fridge full but even at 1/2 capacity the cans were still not frosty cold the way we like it. If I could do-over, I would go for the next model up which has a more powerful motor as well as a door lock.
