Comments about Haier 42 Can (12 oz.) or 17 Wine Bottles Beverage Center - HBCN02EBB:

I found this unit [...] so I figured what do have to lose. [...]
Out of the box it was easy to set up. Quality appears to be ok.

This unit was purchased with the intention for wine storage only. Ideal conditions for wine storage is about 55 F. However, even at the lowest thermostate setting, this unit will not get much above 50 F. Humidity stays around 60%. (I use my own thermometer and humidity gauge) Now granted, these conditions are MUCH better than letting my wine sit on a rack in my living room on warm (80F +) days with no AC, but I would like to be able to control the temperature a little bit higher, maybe up to 60F.

The unit uses a conventional refrigeration system with compressor. This adds some slight vibration and noise.

Unless I have some major problem with it I will most likely keep it.
