Have had this cooler for 3 weeks. Consistant ice formation. Avanti sent out their service people. Service people said that since Avanti re-designed the cooler, this icing has been the result.
A self defrosting cooler should not have constant ice formations
Expensive mistake to purchase this cooler.

Put this fridge in our bedroom master closet for drinks, coke, water, etc. Keeps everything very cold at the beer setting. The temp ranges from 36 to 42 degrees, and seems fairly accurate. We keep the fridge 1/2 to 3/4 full.

Great product, cools nicely, runs quiet (after the initial "settling" period for the coolant). The different shelves allows for multiple configurations for storing larger bottles, etc. Seems to be holding temperature well so far. Better than I expected, since there weren't many reviews out there nor could I see the product in a retaiil store nearby.
