Comments about Wayne Pumps 1 HP Portable Lawn Sprinkler / Utility Pump - PLS100:

Great pump; easy to set-up & prime. I turned it on and water was pouring out the end of a 150' hose, with a 7 foot rise in elevation. I use it to water a half acre lot, pulling water from a small lake in my yard. We have water restrictions here and the water bill becomes unreal if you use more than your winter avg.; this pump allowed me to save my trees & plants.

Comments about Wayne Pumps 1 HP Portable Lawn Sprinkler / Utility Pump - PLS100:

I use this pump to water 1 acre. Works very well, but you do need to install a foot valve and a close valve to prevent your prime from licking into back into your water source. I'd use 1. 1/4 inch pvc pipe to do the connections to your water source. You can use regular garden hoses to carry water through.

I have trouble holding a prime in the pump. I think I have eliminated all possible air links.
