Because I am single and cook primarily only for myself I find the oven perfect. It is easy to clean and looks nice on my counter top. The only problem I have encountered is setting up the rotisserie. I haven't been able to use it because I can't seem to install it.

I’ve previously owned two DeLonghi convection ovens (model AD679) and, although both lost their lower heating elements and could not be repaired, I stuck with DeLonghi after the second oven stopped working. I must have looked at every countertop convection oven available and DeLonghi was still my choice.
Although I miss the push button controls, and I think the analog dials look chintzy, DeLonghi’s convection/rotisserie oven (model AS1870) has lived up to my expectations. Not only does it heat evenly, but it’s fun to use. Rotisserie assembly is easy and cleanup is fast. My only complaint about the rotisserie operation is that the screws that attach the prongs to the spit come all the way out which means that they could get dropped down a drain.
Folks looking for easy bread or bagel toasting should consider another convection/toaster oven. The AS1870 does not have a toast function. Instead, one must set the oven on broil and turn the bread over after the topside has toasted. My husband has gone back to using a conventional toaster. It’s faster than using the new DeLonghi.

This oven is perfect for those times when heating up a large oven is not practical, or for supplementing a large oven's space. Recommended to me by a friend who is a gourmet cook, and this product does not disappoint. Excellent for small/medium baking. Have not used the rotisserie, but my friend reports it is great.

I use this oven instead of heating my big oven. It's just wonderful, I have 2 for two homes and am buying one for my brother. You can set it outside in the summer if you have an outside plug. I bake 2 trays of chicken or fish, or toast 2 trays of garlic bread, or a pan of dressing, or green bean casserole. the convection feature is wonderful. takes no time to heat up. the only sacrifice is counter space but it's worth it not having to wait to heat the big oven. can't say enough about convenience. LOVE IT!!!!!!

I do not have another oven, so this oven will need to serve all my needs. So far, I am very satisfied. I tried to use the rotisserie once, and it isn't hard, but due to my lack of experience, I have not been successful yet in my first three weeks of using the oven. I am busy, have no patience with complicated appliances, and cannot tolerate things that breakdown. So far, I am satisfied. The oven is durable and simple to use.
