Comments about WindChaser IceMan - Portable Ice Cube Maker - ICM15S:

Product works great, except for one problem: If you do not watch the water level, you chance breaking the ice flipper. (The Ice Flipper lifts the just released ice, and lets it fall into the ice basket.)

When mine broke after about 3 months use, I called customer service to send it to a repair center. They said I could do it myself, and sent me the replacement part with instructions immediately, and at no charge. It was a little tricky replacing it, but most people should be able to do it.

After another few months, it broke again. I was able to figure out what happened: the low water sensor did not work properly, allowing partial ice cubes to be made. The partial ice cubes will jam and break the ice flipper.

There should be a better 'low water' sensor than the one they use.

Otherwise, this is a great machine that does everything the manufacturer claims.

It really makes a tray of ice in less than 10 minutes. Soon, you will have more ice than you can use.
