The process takes to long and needs more weights to hold garments.
Comments about Whirlpool Whirlpool Fabric Freshener - LRF4001RY:
Instructions state that you can freshen up to 3 garments at once, but it works best if you do no more than 2.

Comments about Whirlpool Whirlpool Fabric Freshener - LRF4001RY:
The first one I purchased did not work. I received a new one directly from Whirpool and returned the first one. I loved the second one for the entire 6.5 months that it worked. It developed the same problem and would not pump the water. This appears to be very common with this unit.
The repair costs are excessive. It is a shame they can't build it to last more than 6 months. Other then that I loved it.

The cost of dry-cleaning is an expense, and living in New York City with limited space is another challenge. This has both covered. I'm a musician,
after playing a gig I put my suite in the Fabric Freshener and it's like I picked it up at the cleaners when I take it out. Plus it a good size for a small apartment.

Comments about Whirlpool Whirlpool Fabric Freshener - LRF4001RY:
The Fabric freshener works great. It is simple to use and the clothes come out smelling fresh and wrinkle free. Although slightly expensive, it is well worth the convenience of not ironing anymore. The only problem is what to do with our old iron - maybe we'll use it for a door stop.

This is an amazing product that virtually paid for itself in two weeks.
For most of my work clothes I no longer need to visit the dry cleaners on a weekly basis - instead I might drop an article or two off once every couple of months. This was truly a great investment.
The only down side is you MUST use distilled water, not tap water. Its no biggie, but could be considered a drawback by some.

Comments about Whirlpool Whirlpool Fabric Freshener - LRF4001RY:
This would be a five-star item, were it not for one serious flaw. It comes with heavy clips, a.k.a. Tension Weights, much like heavy, giant bag clips, which you can attach to the bottom of a shirt, or pants, to help straighten out the wrinkles. You know the wrinkles that stretch horizontally across the back of a shirt after it's been worn? These clips are great for helping get rid of that. HOWEVER, the clips that came with my Fabric Freshener could not withstand the heat and fell apart after a few uses. If only Whirlpool would redesign these clips, which are made mostly of a soft plastic which starts to warp in a critical place, where plastic tabs grab the axle about which the clip pivots. In the meantime, I'm looking for a substitute. Pants hangers with the bars that clip onto the bottom of the pants legs are a start. They work with shirts, but they are too big for pants because the pants hang too close to the bottom of the appliance.
