The only problem I had installing this unit was attaching the support bar across the top of the unit. The middle of the unit's top casing was slightly bowed downward/concave and the 3/8 inch screws supplied were too short for the two middle holes. It took me a while to work the screws in otherwise installation would have been a snap. The reviews for this brand/model were very good and, so far, it's been working as advertised. The high fan speed setting is loud especially in a small room where this thing is designed to be used in, medium is bearable and low is OK. The compressor kicks in with a small thud but nothing out of the ordinary for units of this size.

It is much lighter than another 5000 BTU unit that I own. So it is easy to install, all by myself!
Has a remote, so I don't even have to get up to adjust the temperature, turn it on or off, etc.
Very happy customer!

This A/C works great. The first problem I ran into was that it made my room too cold (which isn't such a bad thing during the summer), but then I lowered the fan speed and everything was pretty much perfect. Even though this A/C was small, I knew it would do a good job.
