Comments about Friedrich 13,000 btu 230 volt Uni Fit Thru-The-Wall Air Conditioner - US14B30A:

Unit is fairly quiet, was easy to install. I replaced the original sleeve with one that is recommended for the product. I am using it for the living room/kitchen area in a condo. The room size is about 450 sq feet. It cools the room OK, but I have to close bedroom and bathroom doors. Total square footage of my place is 700; it won'd cool the entire condo, but I expected that.

I bought it based on several review of Friedrich products. Not the cheapest unit around, but I've bought a cheaper unit before that lasted only about a year.
