2nd time I've bought one of these. It saves alot of counterspace, especially when you have a small apartment kitchen.

This is the second time I have used one of these microwave shelves. It's very good for kitchens with little counter space and/or limited electrical outlets (my range is next to the fridge so I can plug the microwave into that outlet). It is easy to assemble and is very stable on the range. My only complaint is that the shelf is a little low and because the control panel on my range is at the back, it is a bit hard to see the instrumentation. It was necessary for me to not fasten the heat shield all the way down, and even bend it up a little bit, so that I can see the range controls, and even then I have to bend down a little. And it would be awkward to use a very deep pot on the range, which I don't usually do anyway. Since I don't cook a lot it is no great problem for me, but I would not suggest this shelf for someone who does.

Disapointed that the sides and top are 2 different colors. I ordered white, and had to wait to call to find out all tops are black. This needs to be noted in all of the descriptions.

Fits my GE range too a T..My microwave door is the right height for me..The only negatives are that the reflector guard is a little too low for where the knobs on my range/stove are. If the reflector was a little shorter, it would be perfect. The second is it was a bit harder to assemble than I expected.

This product is a great idea. In a small kitchen like mine, you need to save counter space. I ordered this shelf to save counter space instead of having a range hood. It also saved me money over a range hood's price. However, the shelf is SO SHORT. I figured out that if I had put a stock pot on the range, I would't have been able to stir anything. So...since I liked the idea so much, I cut the legs off and mounted it to the wall at the height I needed. Again, it's a great idea, but maybe they should just make them so they mount on the wall to begin with, and people could choose their own height.

The shelf is good and sturdy and relatively easy to put together. It fits over the stove-top like a glove...very secure. It gives my kitchen kind of a professional, "a chef lives here" look. And Homeclick is the best price on the web.
