I bought these for my parents, especially for my dad, because he has a bad back. They recently purchased the washer and dryer and when I came to visit, I noticed how low they were to the ground. It was hard to see inside the units and hard to transfer clothes in and out. Once they were installed (which wasn't as hard as I thought with two people) my parents were thrilled. They didn't have to bend over anymore. I noticed a difference also when I used them. They are sturdy and well built, and as long as everything is balanced and level, they don't make any noise when the units are in operation. The drawers open and close with ease, the dividers in the drawers are easy to move around and hold lots of bottles. The instructions are clear and easy to use as well. All in all, a very good purchase, I just wish they were cheaper.

These pedestals are exactly what you'd expect... sturdy supports for your washer or dryer with no bells or whistles. The drawer is handy for storing detergent, dryer sheets, etc.

My only advice is to get two or three men to install these things. Lifting a washing machine to get it on the pedestal is impossible for one person, and still awkward for two. And be careful when lowering the unit onto the pedestal because the bracket can scratch your washing machine/dryer.

Great product, couldn't get any better. Very easy to install and puts washer and dryer at a height that saves your back.
