      It's a grinder! It's taken everything we've thrown at it with ease. Installation was not difficult as all parts were included and instructions were easy to follow. It is a little heavy when installing, but once supported the rest is pretty easy.

      The unit is a bit noisier than I had hoped, but it certainly is quieter than what it replaced.

      Good marks across the board.

      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

        This product (EZ mount model) was very easy to install and is incredibly quiet (at least compared to my old disposal). The hardest part of the process was taking out my old garbage disposal. Good product and lives up to it's claim of "EZ Mount"

            i bought this because consumer reports likes this brand and they have a good warrantee. it seems fine so far! it isn't really quiet, but has done its job. the plumber had never seen it before, and it installs a little differently than the insinkerator. but i think it will do the job nicely.
