Assembly was reasonable, a little time consuming, but its alot of product, & assembly can't be too fast for it to be well made! We love how sturdy the chairs are. I compared LOTS of dining sets before purchasing this one and I am super pleased w/ the "value". One thing I think is worth mentioning: I looked at several other dining sets with tables that were 90" long like this one where they actually put 8 chairs around it. I considered ordering 2 more chairs and seating 8 but decided to wait until it arrived just to be sure... glad I did that! These chairs are really large in width so it would be really super tight on tabletop room if an additional chair where on each end. I think best to only use 6 at this table. Also, table and chairs are "slighty" different in color - don't know if that is standard or just depends on the shipment, but worth mentioning since mine have a noticeable difference in coloring.

Service and delivery comments:

I did not receive any tracking information for a considerable amount of time so I placed a call requesting this to Homeclic. Initially I was not pleased with customer service as it took me making several calls to them to actually get someone who would follow up and find out when in fact I would receive the dining set. Turns out the manufacturer had lost the order so no telling what would have transpired, or at least the amount of time that would have passed, had I not have really pursued tracking information. Once Homeclic replaced the order w/ manufacturer shipping was pretty speedy. Guess you just better follow-up if you have concerns or are on a timeline as I was!
