I purchased the Toto wood/chrome seat because I did not like the appearance of the stock, plastic seat recommended by the company. My thought was that this seat more appropriately matched the design of the 'eco-promenade' Toto toilet. Problem is, the seat does not stay up when taking a pee...very annoying...especially after the hassle of installing the toilet,etc...you just want simple things to work right.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
