I thought this product was a little pricey for a plastic toilet seat, but I liked the idea of the SoftClose feature, and I wanted a seat to match my new Cotton White Toto toilet. It was very easy to install and functions well. The SoftClose is wonderful. The seat doesn't feel flimsy or anything, but it isn't as comfortable as my old toilet seat. It's definitely not a deal breaker and we will be ordering a second toilet and seat from Homeclick for our guest bathroom.

This seat was purchased for an extra fee with my Toto toilet. First thing I noticed was how small the opening was. I felt that it was smaller than it needed to be. A child would be better suited for this seat.

It installed perfectly. The soft close feature is nice. Its great to be able to just start it on its way, and it slowly comes to rest on its own.

The issues I have with it, besides its size, is how cheap it feels for the price. When I sit on it, it likes to slide to the side. Almost feels like its sliding off the bowl. And when you go to lift it up, it almost feels like you are going to break it due to the soft close mechanism slowing the movement. The seat portion is fairly hollow and flimsy...which I think might contribute to it shifting on the bowl when I use it.

Otherwise its fine. It will work great for us for the time being!

This was ordered as a replacement for the original Toto seat that failed. Based upon a review of the "new" seat, it appears to be a new design regarding the mounts to the bowl. Looks like it should be more durable than the original.
