    I'm concerned about how sturdy this is as a couch. I am little sceptical due to lots of bad experiences with futons. A lot of times futons wear out quickly as a couch and need to be used up against a wall from then on. It looks like it doesn't move foreward when in use as a bed so wondering what supports the back once folded down into a bed. And also, what keeps the back up as a couch.

      A:

      Our Serta Dream vendor advises the following: "Item is a Serta Convertible with it being Serta the item is much more comfortable. To be put in bed position the item will need to be pulled out from the wall a bit. The cushion will not move forward when converting to a bed. The back rest piece will fold down and a pull out leg is used to support the backrest when in bed position. There is an internal mechanism that will lock the sofa into place and also make it easy to convert into different positions."
