The textured steel shelf offers an attractive, durable surface, while the stainless steel heat deflector aims cooktop heat back down and away from the shelf. Top Shelf assembles quickly and is installed by simply slipping it over the backguard to securely rest on the range cooktop retainer edges, with no attachment required.
