It is a fairly nice-looking fireplace screen with a more practical design than many others, since it has a door that can be opened easily to light the fire. It is sturdier than it looks, but is somewhat less pretty than on the picture, especially when it is not backlit. Overall, we think that it is a good buy and surely keeps the cat out of the ashes.

I am re-modeling my living room and found this fire screen with the attractive fall and leaf design. I shopped around and on line and I found this one. It is so much prettier than even the picture shows. It is very big and heavy and looks a lot more expensive than the price. I was very pleased with my purchase. There was a screw missing in one of the doors, but that's an easy fix.

The bolts on the center foot (faces into firebox) were too long to balance the screen. Had to cut them off after screwing on the nut. (Thanks Dremel tool!)
