I replaced a unit that was 15 years old and producing soot. I also wanted the remote. I shopped around and this was the most realistic set and the price was the best from this vendor. It heats den,kitchen,dining and breakfast area very well. Its easy to use and looks as real as the old wood fireplace I gave up years ago. Natural gas burns clean, no smoke, and no cockroaches coming out of the wood!

Unit had to ship from the manufacturer so it took about 10 days to receive. But hey, I'm in Texas and it was 75 degrees in December, so no problem on the delivery timing.

Purchased this set to replace 15 yr. old system that was producing soot and wanted the remote control. Had a plumber install to check the natural gas pressures and he was done within the hour. This set is much more realistic than my previous set of logs and puts out sufficient heat to warm 3 rooms.

Product had to come from the manufacturer so it took a bit longer, but hey, I'm in South Texas and it was 75 degrees, so no problems with delivery timing.
