Three standard poles, two base poles and two offset hanging hooks, and that's it. The poles' spring-pin assembly means that once you've unpacked all parts from their shipping box, you can have the whole thing up and ready for hammock hanging in about five minutes - that is, if you're really taking your time about it! We've seen the entire thing put together in just over a minute. Seriously. It's that easy.

Simple assembly, however, does not mean the stand is anything less than secure. In fact, Pawleys Island's Tri-Beam Steel Hammock Stand, a Hatteras original design, is about as safe as it gets. The spring pins themselves have solid-steel cores, to prevent possible shearing, holding the sturdy poles of 2-inch 12 Gauge steel firmly in place. Base and foot poles are attached using Pawleys Island's patented 360 Degree Right Connection weld, which in all these years we've never once seen fail.
