Panasonic FV11VF2 Details
Panasonic WhisperFit 110 CFM Low Profile Ceiling Mounted Fan

Key Features

  • {Low - Profile Housing for Smaller Ceiling Cavities
  • Do you have 2" x 6" joists in your ceiling? Are you having trouble finding a ventilating fan that will fit in this small cavity? Well, this model was made just for you. Designed to fit 2" x 6" joists or larger, this low - profile fan doesn't sacrifice performance for size. An optional 3" duct adaptor1 is also included for those areas where a smaller duct is necessary
  • {So Quiet You Might Not Know it's On
  • This WhisperFit™ fan features a totally enclosed condenser motor and a large, double suction blower wheel to quietly move air. A small wheel turning very fast will create more noise than a large wheel turning more slowly for a given airflow. Panasonic's fan uses a wide blower wheel that moves a large amount of air at reduced RPMs. The blower wheel is also designed to draw air in from both sides, which helps keep the noise down, as there is more area for the air to enter the wheel. In fact, it is quiet enough that you might not even know it's on
  • {Continuous, Trouble - free Operation for Many Years
  • This fan is designed to give you continuous, trouble - free operation for many years thanks in part to its high - quality components and permanently lubricated motors which wear at a slower pace. Also, since heat is always detrimental to motor life (the cooler the environment, the longer the motor will last), we designed the electrical configuration of this model's condenser motor to allow it to operate at lower temperatures, increasing the life of the motor and bearings. And, the fan housing is made of heavy - gauge zinc galvanized steel and painted to protect it from rust
  • {User - Friendly Installation
  • Detachable adaptors, firmly secured duct ends, adjustable mounting brackets (up to 26"), fan / motor units that detach easily from the housing and uncomplicated wiring all lend themselves to user - friendly installation. This model also features a double - hanger bar system for ideal positioning
  • {Energy Star® Qualified for Energy Savings
  • Energy Star qualified products feature super - quiet operation and high CFM - to - Watt efficiency. The Energy Star program was created to help consumers identify products that can save them money and protect the environment by saving energy. As an Energy Star partner, all Panasonic fans are Energy Star qualified and labeled accordingly
  • {Tired of Cold Air Coming Through Your Ventilation Fan
  • This Panasonic fan has a built - in damper to prevent backdraft, which helps to prevent outside air from coming through the fan. Also, thanks to the efficient, cool running motors and fluorescent bulbs., it does not create excessive heat - a common problem with recessed lighting fixtures and some competitors' fan / light combinations. Loose fill or batt insulation can be placed directly over the fan housing to prevent heat from escaping

Comments about Panasonic WhisperFit 110 CFM Low Profile Ceiling Mounted Fan:

Purchased replacement batteries in October of 2013 (bought 2 because I like to have one in in reserve), more than SEVEN years after purchasing the base unit with 4 additional handsets. Unfortunately, the problem was the base unit and not the battery. Our replacement (June of 2014) is another similar Panasonic product, and I anticipate the same longevity. But what do I do with a still-in-the-package phone battery? My new unit uses 2 rechargeable AA's!

Replacement for a 1987 Panasonic Microwave

Comments about Panasonic WhisperFit 110 CFM Low Profile Ceiling Mounted Fan:

My husband got his first microwave, a Panasonic, as a gift in 1987. It is the microwave that had been in his bachelor pad, joined our household after we married and survived two kids into their teen years. It had the door repaired once and the magnetron replaced once, but otherwise it worked perfectly until last month when it finally gave up the ghost. After 27 years of owning a Panasonic, it was the only option for us. I couldn't be happier with our decision. I love the sensor cooking and reheating. According to my kids, the popcorn setting makes the perfect bag of microwave popcorn. It was a great value and maybe I won't have to buy a microwave for another 27 years (which would make it an exceptional value).

These batteries lasted longer than the expected 3 years in my 3- KX-TGA552M phones. As I look though the reviews I see a lot of dissatisfaction with rechargeable batteries. Then I see they say they had them 5 or so years. They are not knowledgeable that rechargeable batteries have a end of life in 3 years. Anything past that is a bonus. With regular preventive maintenance 3 year replacement you should get stellar use from your product. P.S. Write on the battery the date you installed it & expire date in 3 years. On the side don't wait till the battery fails in your smoke detectors in your homes to replace them. No I am just a regular person not an employee comment plant.

Got an error H98 which the manual says is a problem with mcrowave generation system. Having to replace way too early. Engineers need to quit using low-contrast control panels. Black on grey is stupid. Can't see it without glasses.

I was the chief technician and a major repair center for many manufacturers of consumer electronics. Some of these reviews I think they're a little off to say the least. I like the one that said the microwave worked with the door open in the service department responsibly never heard of that. They probably haven't because there are failsafe switches in the doors that if any switch should fail to open or close will disable the entire unit by blowing the main power fuse. I can only see this possible if someone deliberately bypassed multiple switches. I have also done work for Panasonic is a service center in my working years. Panasonic has always stood by their product and taken care of their customers. For those who couldn't take their microwave 50 miles to have it repaired under warranty you can't really complain

Let's face it! A telephone just sits there doing nothing about 99.9% of the time. We expect it to be perfect, with NOTHING negative for that other 0.1% of the time we are using it. So, a cordless phone that sits there, doing nothing but the battery eating itself for the 99.9% of the time we don't need it and thus dying during the 0.1% of the time when we must have a perfect experience is guaranteed to produce negative feedback. You need to design a battery for your cordless phones that stops all negative chemical processes during the 99.9% of the time when the phone is not needed, so it will give the 4 hours of perfect performance whenever it is asked to the other 0.1% of the time. Either that or a light that tells us to replace the battery when the microprocessor determines that the battery will give a poor customer experience the next time it is called on to impress us with great performance. Remember, the telephone works for us 100% of the time, not the other way around! Please let me know what you think of my comments. Mike
