Comments about LG Studio 30" Stainless Steel Built-In Trim Kit:

The product does fit around our LG counter top microwaves but the following issues made it very difficult to install this simple cover:

1- Cheap and flimsy material for the trim
2- Mounting screws are just dropped into the shipping box which are
scattered in the box when you receive it
3- The mounting screws should be self tapping screws but they do
not have enough bite to tap into the microwave chassis holes
without stripping out the screw head.
4- I had to buy better self-tapping sheet metal screws to get this trim
kit mounted.
5- The pre-drilled holes in the LG microwave are not thread so the
screws have to do all the threading work which can be difficult for
some people.
