          had the fan installed by a professional electrician, so don't know about ease of installation. the fan works very well, however. it moves sufficient air, is absolutely quiet, and looks great in our home. the only con was that the canopy did not accomodate the pitch of our vaulted ceiling - resolved by purchasing an different canopy.
