                  This hose was a replacement for a similar Grohe hose that failed after about 4 years (the metal covering broke, exposing the plastic inner core tubing. The new hose is an improvement in that the top fitting (that attached to the shower head) has been redesigned so that it can more easily be removed and replaced in the shower bar holder.
