Ok. This is not your general purpose purely utilitarian grab bar. It is sturdy. It is functional it is ADA compliant.

This grab bar is aimed at people that have put a lot into their bathroom remodel and want the grab bar to match their other fixtures. It is elegant looking and stylish, in addition to being functional. That style comes with a hefty mark up.
