My husband was able to install in about 2 hours -- even with having to improvise to make the frame fit a slightly larger opening. Directions seemed to be straightforward to follow. Item was expensive for what is essentially a few pieces of plastic (almost as much as the microwave!) but it did provide a nice, built-in look.
