First Team Sport-II Sport II Fixed Height Basketball Hoop System

The Sport II is an extremely durable basketball system that is built to stand up to all kinds of weather conditions. The one-piece post is 4" square and constructed of 11 ga. steel. You don't need to worry about rust attacking the joints, as can happen with models made with sectional posts.

The Sport II is considered a fixed height goal. Two heavy-duty U bolts are used to attach the extension arm to the vertical post, and these can be loosened if you want to make an adjustment to the rim height. Just tighten them up again when you get to the height along the post that you want. The post to backboard extension distance is 24". The post is buried 36" below the playing surface to eliminate wobbling. You can add a ground sleeve to the package to give you the flexibility to remove the post if you like. Another option to consider for safety reasons is all-weather post padding or backboard padding.

The Sport II is a tough basketball system that will provide years of enjoyable use. With its single-piece post construction, you don't need to worry about rust damage to joints. The unit stays where you place it, period. The Sport II comes equipped with a 36" x 48" acrylic backboard and a recreational flex goal. The goal is "direct mounted" so that the backboard will not break during use.
