    Comments about Cyan Design Madelynne 1 Light Table Lamp No.3 in Smoked Gray:

    This lamp is beautiful, but the design is horrible. The lamp itself is very light relative to the weight of the cord and the on/off control (which is built into the cord). The weight of the cord could easily pull the lamp off a table depending where it is situated, and without fail when I turn it on/off or adjust the dimmer, the lamp slides across the table -- it is just too light. I ordered 2 - one arrived shattered but was replaced without difficulty or any hassle. By the time I got the replacement, I didn't have the energy to return the lamps, so I just have them situated where they can't slide off my furniture.

    Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
