The cassette module is cheap but functional. The record player will do for limited use to convert to digital. The Audacity software is complicated to learn but free to download and works well once you spend some time with it.

50 years old. Product is easy to use although
I wish when one side is finished it would stop

Last year I could not find this unit in black and for the right price. Everyone that had the unit in stock wanted over $400 plus shipping. You can imagine my excitement when I found the unit at Homeclick for [$] with free shipping. I replaced my 25 yer-old stereo system and connected the the Memory Master II to my sound system even though the speakers within the unit produce a great sound. Even my 30 year-old LP records sound great on this very versatile stereo. My wife loves the unit because it is so very simple to use. We barely used the old system because it was so difficult turning on multiple components. My wife and I are very pleased with the product.

I purchased this unit to copy my favorite old records and tapes to CD's. It has worked great for recording directly to the CD's without the use of a computer. I will explore using the USB connection and record directly to my computer next. That will open the door to even more options with my favorite old records and tapes. I really like the unit.
