How to Replace a Showerhead

A new shower head can improve water pressure while giving you the option of various sprays and updating the look of your bathroom.

Tools needed:
Adjustable wrench

Materials:
Teflon tape
Replacement shower head

Step By Step:

Step 1 – Remove the old shower head using the adjustable wrench and turning
counterclockwise.
Step 2 -  Remove the old Teflon tape by unwinding and using a Scotchbrite  pad or  
Brillo if necessary.
Step 3 – Wrap the thread with new Teflon tape.
Step 4 – Screw on the new shower head and tighten an extra quarter turn with the
adjustable wrench.
