    does this tv stand come in a size to hold a 55 tv?

      A:

      This is just the middle stand portion and will be able to hold a 55" television. Remember, TV's are measured by the diagonal of the screen. So a 55" viewable screen may actually only have an overall width of around 50". And then the base portion which is all that really has to sit on the stand is usually around half that (give or take).
