Had problems with shipping. Skillet showed up, not lid. Also I had to do some of my work as order showed complete. Not sure if from manufacturer issue, etc..Or whom was at fault. Contacted customer service and they then stayed on top of situation until lid arrived

I am a home cook and use castiron almost exclusively for my stovetop cooking. Nothing sears as well and cleans up so easily. A bit of couse salt does the job with little effort.Yes it is heave, but the nice brown crust makes it worth the effort.

I wish I would have purchased a cast iron skillet long before. This pan was recommended by a cooking magazine I read. What a great bargain.
