    We took out a cabinet just like this one but 40 years old. So it fit in the old hole exactly, this was great. It is not built as well as the old one, but then what is. For the time saved on cutting a new hole or patching the old one, this was well worth the money. Pleased with the product and ecstatic that it is still available.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

      I purchased this to replace one just about the same in design. It was very flimsy in construction, the back panels didn't even have screws to strengthen it or stabilize it, the transformer for the florsent lights is loud. The inside shelving were made of thin plastic, I can see these breaking over time. It was easy to put into the existing hole, we only had to cut 1/2 inch of wall board to get it to fit! I like the retro style, but my old one was put together better, If I new how to restore it I would have.

      Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
