I had a licensed plumber try to install this strainer to my Blanco sink over my current disposal. He tried for over an hour to get the disposer fitting to stay on this cheap plastic housing and it kept sliding off as there were no ridges to hold the gaskets of a standard disposer. I have returned this item and bought a strainer locally.
