        Used this thermostat for my gas heating stove. Works as described. Temperature sensor is sensitive. Keep thermostat away from windows or it will won't read the room temp correctly.

              I replaced an existing Ambient Technologies remote control with this wired remote for more precise control of temperature. The only thing I don't like is the fact that the backlight is not available until you press a temp up or down button, in effect changing the target temperature. Other than that this is an economical, good-looking thermostat.
