Grohe Freehander Shower System with Exposed Hose Coupling (Polished Brass) - 27006R00

Freehander's unique design joins two shower heads on a sturdy tubular arm which pivots 180° and allows an effortless one-handed movement to convert shower heads (up position) to body sprays (down position). Both shower heads can be rotated a full 360° which, when combined with the pivoting arm, allows almost infinite possibilities for positioning shower water flow to satisfy individual needs and tastes. Plus, Freehander does not require any loosening or tightening steps for positioning. A unique tension system allows Freehander to be set at any height simply by moving the arm up or down. The amount of tension can be changed via an adjustment screw inside the mounting bracket. Freehander has been tested to withstand 20,000 up/down cycles without a failure.

Each full-size Freehander shower head offers both a wide spray and a pulsator spray and each features GROHE's SpeedClean anti-lime system. Additionally, the outer head features an "Eco" setting for a reduced flow to conserve water and the inner head can be completely shut off. Overall, when combined with shower head or body spray position options, Freehander offers 18 choices of shower spray combinations

The Freehander arm serves as the key positioning element, but it also serves as the plumbing system through which water is supplied to both shower heads. Freehander is available in two different models for installation directly to a mixed water source behind the mounting bracket, or for installation via a hand shower hose to an existing shower arm, tub spout with hose connection, or hand shower union. Freehander also offers an optional mounting kit for installation directly to an existing shower arm. Either installation system lends itself to simple retrofit without the need for breaking into a wall.
