After 145 years of experience in making ice cream freezers, White Mountain designed the electric motor to operate on 120 volts. This commercial grade motor is rugged, dependable, and has excellent starting and running torque. It gives plenty of power for turning the freezer at the proper speed, which is necessary for producing the fine texture and quality of homemade ice cream. No other ice cream maker has the power to re-start, after stopping to add fruit, berries, etc., just before freezing is completed. There is nothing quite like making your very own ice cream with your own flavors, and with the recipe and instruction booklet we've included for you, you will find it to be easy and fun too!

Long Lasting, Top Quality

- Built of the finest materials and construction, all White Mountain Freezers stand up and give long, satisfactory service. The tubs are made from selected New England Pine and bound with strong galvanized hoops. Also fitted with electro-less nickel plated fixtures to ensure durability.

- Because the dasher is constructed of heavy duty cast iron, and is electro-less nickel plated, it will never warp out of shape like plastic dashers do. The imported Norwegian Beechwood blades are self-adjusting to ensure the thorough scraping of the inside of the can.

- Cheaper models use an insufficient 3000 RPM shaded pull motor. Only White Mountain uses a 12,000 RPM commercial grade universal motor that operates on AC or DC 120 volt current.
